  • USAFWS uses crew swaps to enhance training

    The U.S. Air Force Weapons School fighter pilots are preparing for rigorous combat battle rhythms with the integration of rapid crew swap exercises. These exercises require aircrews and aircraft maintainers to launch and recover the jets in one-third the normal time.

  • 437th supports JFE exercise over Nevada Testing and Training Range

    This year, don’t miss the F-35 Lightning II Demonstration Team, which is performing for the first time in Las Vegas and are teaming with the 757th Aircraft Maintenance Squadron Bolt Aircraft Maintenance Unit to fly Nellis-based F-35 aircraft.

  • 29th WPS: Forging C-130 Tactical Experts

    The 29th Weapons Squadron recently tackled phase three of the C-130 Weapons Instructor Course in Colorado, from October 12 - 27. The 29th WPS at Little Rock Air Force Base, Arkansas, a detachment from the U.S. Air Force Weapons School at Nellis AFB, Nevada, is home to the course.

    The remains of Cpl. Walter J. Kellett have been found and identified. He was buried in his hometown of Ironwood, Michigan, with full military honors -- his sister and other family members were in attendance.
