The United States Air Force (USAF) invites the public to review and comment on a Proposed Plan for Site OT500 at Nellis Air Force Base (AFB).
The Proposed Plan presents the USAF’s preferred remedial alternative for cleanup of contaminants in groundwater at Site OT500 within Nellis AFB. The Site lies within the main base area of Nellis AFB on the southeast side of Las Vegas Boulevard. Site OT500 is primarily used as open-air storage facilities. The public can participate by reviewing the Proposed Plan and commenting either orally or in writing. Formal comments on the Proposed Plan can be submitted during the public comment period. The public comment period for the Proposed Plan runs from 10/22/2023 through 11/20/2023. The comment period includes an opportunity for a public meeting where representatives from the USAF and the Nevada Division of Environmental Protection will be present to explain the Proposed Plan, listen to concerns, answer questions, and accept public comments (verbal or written). A public meeting will be held if there is a request from members of the public before the end of the comment period.

La Fuerza Aérea de los Estados Unidos (USAF) invita al público a revisar y comentar sobre un Plan Propuesto para el Sitio OT500 en la Base de la Fuerza Aérea de Nellis (AFB).
El Plan Propuesto presenta la alternativa de remediación preferida de la USAF para la limpieza de contaminantes en el agua subterránea en el Sitio OT500 dentro de Nellis AFB.
