Recycling is mandatory
Effective immediately, Nellis will implement integrated non-hazardous solid waste management to increase diversion and to sustain recycling programs in the most economical manner. Participation is mandatory for all personnel. Large gray bins have been placed in the buildings, and they will be emptied each Tuesday. White dumpsters for cardboard are now located in or near major buildings. Blue plastic receptacles in various sizes have been distributed to every desk or work station. For more information, contact the QRP manager at 652-5270 or the Solid Waste Program manager at 652-6097. (U.S. Air Force illustration by Senior Airman Oleksandra G. Manko)
