Members of the Ringling Brothers and Barnum & Bailey Circus join audience members in saying hello to deployed and remote family members during a performance for military families at the base theater on Nellis Air Force Base, Nev., June 20, 2008. NELLIS AIR FORCE BASE, Nev. -- Kenneth Klein, Nellis Base Exchange general manager, presented Maj. Brett Waring, 66th Weapons Squadron weapons instructor pilot, with a $2,500 check April 17 for winning second place in the Army and Air Force Exchange Service’s “Picture This” Pog Design Contest. Construction crews build one of the new homes as part of the ongoing Nellis housing privatization project here, Dec. 12, 2007. A town hall meeting held Jan. 15 updated housing residents on demolition and construction relating to the project, which began in the fall of 2007 and is scheduled for completion in 2012.
