Captain Kevin Weaver
U.S. Air Force Capt. Kevin Weaver, 66th Rescue Squadron helicopter pilot, stands next to a HH-60 Pavehawk helicopter, April 12, 2012, at Nellis Air Force, Nev. Capt Weaver was awarded the Distinguished Flying Cross with valor for combat actions while deployed to Afghanistan. In the Watapur Valley, Afghanistan, Capt. Weaver took intensive machine gun and rocket propelled grenade fire while performing a precision hover and hoist to evacuate eleven casualties. While under fire, Capt.
