Selective Reenlistment Bonus list reduced; Airmen conduct mass reenlistment

The U.S. Air Force has been dealing with budget cuts, furloughs and sequestration, and to reduce spending, the USAF has suspended the Selective Reenlistment Program for service members in 80 percent of critically manned career fields effective immediately.

In an effort to take care of Airmen that qualify for the incentive, the 99th Force Support Squadron has made arrangements for Airmen who would be affected by the change.

"On the Wednesday before Thanksgiving, [the Air Force Personnel Center] released a message on removing 47 [Air Force Specialty Codes] off of the Selective Reenlistment Bonus
