U.S. Marines with Combat Logistics Battalion 7, Combat Logistics Regiment 1, 1st Marine Logistics Group, conduct a simulated contested environment exercise where Chlorobenzalmalononitrile (CS) gas was released into camouflage netting as part of Integrated Training Exercise 1-26 at Marine Corps Air Ground Combat Center, Twentynine Palms, California, Jan. 22, 2026. ITX enables units to mobilize geographically dispersed forces for potential future deployments, increase combat readiness and lethality, and exercise Marine Air Ground Task Force command and control of battalions and squadrons across the full spectrum of warfare.
