In addition, the MDG Commander/CEO is always interested, ready and able to address any patient concerns at 702-653-2000.

New Prescriptions
New hand-written prescriptions may be filled at the satellite pharmacy.  Prescriptions from civilian providers will be filled if the medication is on the hospital's outpatient formulary (a listing of stocked medications).

Prescription Refills
Refills are available through a phone-in refill system and should be picked up at the drive-through windows at the satellite pharmacy.  Listen to the automated message for changes in hours of operation and other important pharmacy information.

The 99th Medical Group (99 MDG) is comprised of approximately 1400 personnel who are dedicated to providing preventive, emergency and acute care services for approximately 22,000 active-duty members and their dependents.

Health care services are also provided directly or coordinated for over 40,000 retirees, their dependents or other eligible beneficiaries on a space-available basis.

The Mike O'Callaghan Military Medical Center now has the Shingrix (Shingles) vaccine! Anyone who has ever had the Chicken Pox can get Shingles. You are more likely to develop Shingles as you get older. The best way to prevent Shingles and its serious complications is to get vaccinated. You should get the Shingles vaccine (Shingrix) if you are 50 years of age or older, even if you've already had Shingles or already received the older version of the vaccine (Zostavax). It is possible to get Shingles more than once. Please stop by our Immunizations clinic, M-F 0730-1600.

We’d like to introduce our Patient Experience Team here at Mike O’Callaghan Military Medical Center! Technical Sergeant April Love is our Group Patient Advocate. She is passionate about ensuring every individual has a positive experience at our facility. We are so incredibly lucky to have her on our team! Second Lieutenant Mindy Bock is our Chief Patient Experience Officer. She is extremely excited to have an opportunity to work hand in hand with TSgt Love to make sure your voices are heard and your needs are met! Last week the First Sergeant Council held its semi-annual Additional Duty First Sergeant Symposium. During the symposium, the student body breaks into RAK(Random Act of Kindness) groups and on graduation day they head out to the base to perform kind acts. The group in the photo came to the hospital to bring lunch to the Emergency Department, the same group also went to the CDC and donated diapers and wipes to help out the families of Airmen. What an awesome job supporting Nellis!

Not sure what to do when you’ve been told a Referral has been placed for you? January 2019 was the beginning of electronic referrals through Health Net Federal Services. Gone are the days of receiving them in the mail. Now, about 48-72 hours after the referral is put in, you can login to Heath Net to get your referral information or call Health Net.
