New Prescriptions
New hand-written prescriptions may be filled at the satellite pharmacy.  Prescriptions from civilian providers will be filled if the medication is on the hospital's outpatient formulary (a listing of stocked medications).

Prescription Refills
Refills are available through a phone-in refill system and should be picked up at the drive-through windows at the satellite pharmacy.  Listen to the automated message for changes in hours of operation and other important pharmacy information.

The 99th Medical Group (99 MDG) is comprised of approximately 1400 personnel who are dedicated to providing preventive, emergency and acute care services for approximately 22,000 active-duty members and their dependents.

Health care services are also provided directly or coordinated for over 40,000 retirees, their dependents or other eligible beneficiaries on a space-available basis.

The 99th Medical Group (MDG), Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) and Junior Reserve Officers’ Training Corps (JROTC) took part in an exercise called Operation Foremost Endeavor where injured individuals in a simulated disaster were airlifted to Nellis Air Force Base, Nev., Feb. 19. The exercise was intended to give officials, observers, media personnel and participants information they need to observe or participate in a National Disaster Medical System (NDMS) hospital evacuation, aeromedical evacuation and patient reception exercise. https://www.af.mil/News/Article-Display/Article/1769573/interagency-exercise-boosts-medical-readiness/

NELLIS HEALTHCARE EVENT: On 14 February, the 99th Medical Group (MDG) had the distinct privilege of hosting our Honorary Commanders and friends of the 99 MDG. The event comprised of visiting multiple locations on Nellis Air Force Base to include the Threat Training Facility, Thunderbirds Hangar, and viewing the Vegas Strong F-15. The day concluded at the Mike O’Callaghan Military Medical Center for lunch and a tour of the facility. The event was an opportunity to show our Las Vegas community partners how much the 99 MDG appreciates their continued support and partnerships.
UPDATE TO WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY: 1) Due to inclement weather, the Mike O’Callaghan Military Medical Center will be opening at 1000 hrs tomorrow morning for normal operations. All appointments and procedures before 1000 hrs will be rescheduled. The Appointment Line will be open starting at 0630 hrs. 2) Only mission essential 99 MDG personnel are required to report before 1000 hrs to support inpatient and emergency department operations. The Periodic Health Assessment (PHA) Tiger Team just hosted an exciting off-site meeting last week at AFWERX. This Tiger Team, made up of more than eight AFSCs, is taking a serious look at how to streamline PHAs.
