#AviationNation Welcomes Home Kellie Hudson! First accredited female air boss in the United States and she will be at Aviation Nation 2022! Kellie Hudson was born and raised in Houston, TX. There, she joined the US Air Force in 1996 at the age of 18 and served 20 years as an Air Traffic Controller. She retired in 2016 at Nellis Air Force Base in Las Vegas, Nevada and she and her family still call Las Vegas "home." Kellie has always been involved in airshows since 1997, including aircrew hospitality and ground operations, then began Air Bossing in 2018. She has shadowed and been mentored by some of the best air bosses; Wayne Boggs, Jim Tucciarone, George Cline and Ralph Royce, before branching off on her own. “I absolutely love my airshow family and have found my true passion-you can’t wait until life isn’t hard to be happy.” -Kellie Hudson.
