Logistical support wins wars: A look into the 633rd ABW’s contribution to Desert Storm

An EF-111 Raven sits on the flight line at Prince Sultan Air Base, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, January, 1991. This particular Raven, 66-016, was serviced by the 633rd Consolidated Aircraft Maintenance Squadron during Operation Desert Storm and was credited with an air-to-air kill of an Iraqi Air Force Mirage F1EQ on January 17, 1991, the only F-111 variant to achieve an-air-to air victory.
