Curtis Smith, an aircraft mechanic with the 565th Aircraft Maintenance Squadron, opens a panel to replace a fuel level control valve on a B-52H bomber Nov. 19, 2020. The bomber known as “Wise Guy” is being regenerated to rejoin the fleet. The aircraft sat in the desert for 10 years at the 309th Aerospace Maintenance and Regeneration Group’s National-Level Airpower Reservoir located at Davis-Monthan Air Force Base, Arizona.
