U.S. and coalition maintainers train at Red Flag 20-2

An Airman assigned to the 77th Fighter Generation Squadron at Shaw Air Force Base, South Carolina, tightens a wire on an F-16CJ Fighting Falcon fighter jet during Red Flag 20-2 at Nellis AFB, Nevada, March 10, 2020. The Air Force lost more than 1,700 aircraft and thousands of Airmen in combat during the Vietnam War. As a result, the Service created Red Flag exercises at Nellis to prepare Air Force and coalition aircrews for combat, to maintain deployment readiness and to increase the lethality of the force.
