Orthopedic Surgery: getting Airmen back on their feet

Airmen from the 99th Surgical Operations Squadron perform surgery to repair an Airman’s ACL at the Mike O’Callaghan Federal Medical Center on Nellis Air Force Base, Nev., Oct. 17, 2016. The orthopedic unit performs a number of surgeries including sports-type arthroscopy, and treatment of rotator cuff disorders, instability of the shoulder procedures, to ligament, meniscal surgeries and total joint arthroplasties for the knees and hips.
