Rehabilitating minds, bodies, spirits

An Airman uses a rehabilitation blade during a physical therapy appointment at the Mike O’ Callaghan Federal Medical Center on Nellis Air Force Base, Nev. Oct. 20, 2014. As the sides of the rehabilitation blade move up and down, it reacts 270 times per minute to resist not only the rapid forces of the blade, but to control your body’s mass which requires starting, stopping and changing directions with precision, balance, harmony and movement.
