Raptor demo team soars into sky

Capt. John Cummings, F-22 Raptor Demo Team commander assigned to the 94th Fighter Squadron from Joint Base Langley-Eustis, Va., pilots an F-22 Raptor from the 53rd Test and Evaluation Group to demonstrate the maneuvering capabilities of the aircraft during the open house at Nellis Air Force Base, Nev., Nov. 7, 2014. The F-22 is a fifth generation fighter aircraft that stores its weapons in an internal weapons bay and is capable of speeds greater than Mach 1.5 without afterburners.
