Many emergencies and disasters occur without warning. It is hard to predict where a person will be during a disaster, so it is important to have contingency plans and supplies in frequently visited locations. Planning ahead can ensure members of a household will know what to do as well as have the supplies needed in any situation. According to Ready.gov, developing plans for different locations requires getting key information about the organization or building manager’s emergency plans.
