USAF A3, former USAFWS commandant visits Nellis

Lt. Gen. Burton M. Field, deputy chief of staff of Operations, Plans and Requirements, Headquarters U.S. Air Force, Washington, D.C., is sprayed by his wife Lisa after his final Air Force sortie, or “fini” flight, at Nellis Air Force Base, Nev., Sept. 11, 2014. Field is a former U.S. Air Force Weapons School commandant and served at Nellis multiple times throughout his 35-year career. The Air Force’s top general in operations, plans and requirements chose to do his final flight at Nellis during a four-day visit to the base to see Nellis’ multiple missions.
