The 99th Security Forces Squadron Armory on Nellis Air Force Base, Nev., is in charge of storing, maintaining and keeping track of all the weapons housed in the armory. Armorers are in charge of cleaning the weapons monthly, as well as performing inventory twice a day to ensure all weapons are present and accounted for. Armorers are also in charge of issuing the correct weaponry during shift change and are responsible for each piece of equipment that enters and exits the armory.
