Joint U.S. forces train together during integrated Green Flag exercise

An F-16 Fighting Flacon from the 309th Fighter Squadron, Luke Air Force Base, Ariz., takes off during Green Flag-West 14-10 at Nellis AFB, Nev., Aug. 21, 2014. Green Flag 14-09 has provided the Air Force the opportunity to work with the Army and Navy in integrated combat scenarios. Practicing these integrated scenarios is essential to perfecting communication because real-world combat operations often call for the branches to work together.
