Airman uses running to better himself

Master Sgt. Luke McCarthy, 99th Security Forces Squadron Charlie One flight chief, runs down a back road located in Area 2 during a training workout Oct. 31, 2013, at Nellis Air Force Base, Nev. McCarthy trains five days a week for three to five miles during each session and supports Life of a Warrior initiative warrior trained fitness work outs as a fitness cadre. The Life of a Warrior initiative challenges Airmen to grow in the physical, mental, social and spiritual areas of their lives and to invest in positive growth rather than a destructive lifestyle.
