757th Aircraft Maintenance Squadron Airmen keep A-10s flying

U.S. Air Force Airman 1st Class Adam Fingleman, 757th Aircraft Maintenance Squadron crew chief, cleans the canopy of an A-10 Thunderbolt II Nov. 18, 2013, at Nellis Air Force Base, Nev. The A-10 Thunderbolt II’s airframe was designed for survivability. It is composed of 1,200 pounds of armor for protection of the cockpit and aircraft systems that enables the aircraft to continue flying after taking significant damage.
