A U.S. Air Force B-52 Stratofortress assigned to the 96th Bomb Squadron from Barksdale Air Force Base, La. is prepped for a Red Flag 14-2 training mission March 6, 2014, at Nellis AFB, Nev. The B-52 made its first flight more than 50 years ago, and is still conducting operations on today’s battlefield.
