Flight operations in full swing for Red Flag 14-3

An F-16 Fighting Falcon assigned to the 31st Wing, Aviano Air Base, Italy, passes over the Nellis Air Force Base airfield before landing after a training mission during Red Flag 14-3, July 15, 2014, at Nellis AFB, Nev. Different units from across the Air Force come to Nellis for Red Flag where they receive intense air-to-air combat training. The F-16 is one of the many types of aircraft participating in the exercise. A typical Red Flag includes fighter, bomber, attack, electronic warfare, air superiority, airlift support, search and rescue, and aerial refueling aircraft.
