Lightning lights up skies over Nellis

An F-35A Lightning II assigned to the 59th Test and Evaluation Squadron, taxis in after landing July 18, 2014, at Nellis Air Force Base, Nev. This marked the first F-35 flight at Nellis to take place since the fleet was grounded after a runway fire took place at Eglin AF B, Fla., June 23. While grounded, additional inspections of the fleet’s engines were conducted to insure the safety of pilots and aircrew. (U.S. Air Force photo by Senior Airman Timothy Young)
