SOUTHWEST ASIA -- Airman 1st Class Thomas Everett, 386th Expeditionary Security Forces Squadron, receives a phone call from President George W. Bush on Nov. 27 at an air base in Southwest Asia. Airman Everett was among 11 servicemembers who received Thanksgiving phone calls from President Bush. During a cargo mission in early August, Airman Everett saved another Airman's life during an in-flight emergency, resulting in a nomination for the Airman's Medal for his efforts.
