RAF joins Red Flag

Sgt. Brian Scott (left), Cpl. Dave Parkinson (right), and Senior Aircraftsman Gary Shackleton (middle), weapons technicians from the IX Bomb Squadron, Royal Air Force, United Kingdom, load an outboard store to a GR-4 Tornado. The Royal Air Force is at Nellis to take part in Red Flag, an exercise that tests aircrew war-fighting skills in real-time combat situations. Red Flag involves more than 200 aircraft ranging from B-52 Stratofortresses to F-16 Fighting Falcons. The exercise will run through Feb. 18.
