Common sight at Red Flag

An Iowa Air National Guard F-16 pulls away from a KC-135 tanker during a Red Flag exercise Aug. 17. Red Flag brings together up to 110 aircraft and more than 2,500 Airmen from around the world, including Allied air forces, to sharpen large-force combat skills. The current Red Flag exercise at Nellis AFB ends Sept. 2. (U.S. Air Force photo/Mike Estrada)
