Tanker support vital during Red Flag

NELLIS AFB, Nev. -- An F-15 Eagle from Kadena Air Base, Japan, takes on fuel from a KC-135 tanker from the 6th Air Mobility Wing, MacDill AFB, Fla., Aug. 23 during exercise Red Flag. The KC-135s provide refueling support for both the Blue and Red forces, which typically number 80 aircraft or more. Red Flag hones the combat skills of U.S. and allied aircrews.
