An F-22 Raptor from the 1st Fighter Wing, Langley Air Force Base, Va., lands at Nellis after a Red Flag mission Feb. 12, 2007. The F-22s are making their first appearance in Red Flag, along with veteran stealth aircraft F-117 Nighthawk fighters and B-2 Spirit bombers. Red Flag sharpens aircrews’ war-fighting skills in realistic combat situations. Crews are flying missions during the day and night to the nearby Nevada Test and Training Range where they take part in highly realistic aerial combat.
