NELLIS AIR FORCE BASE, Nev. -- 1st Lt. Valks Arend taxis toward the end of the runway in his F-16AM while 1st Sgt. Jorck Bouter give a Netherlands pilot the hand signal to hold. Arend and Bouter are members of the Royal Netherlands Air Force and are deployed to Nellis for Red Flag 10-1. Red Flag is a realistic combat training exercise involving the air forces of the United States and its allies.
