NELLIS AIR FORCE BASE, Nev. -- A crew chief assigned to the 317 Airlift Wing recovers a C-130 Hercules on the Nellis flightline during a Mobility Air Forces Exercise, Nov. 18. The aircraft participated in the biannual U.S. Air Force Weapons School MAFEX, which provides realistic training for combat air force, mobility air force and U.S. Army personnel. Approximately 40 C-17s and C-130s from Air Force bases around the world flew about 400 Soldiers from Fort Bragg, N.C., for airdrops on the Nevada Test and Training Range. In addition to providing airdrop training, the exercise also allowed Soldiers to use range facilities to conduct urban ground operations training. (U.S. Air Force photo/Lawrence Crespo)
