Pararescue Rodeo Round-Up

Staff Sgt. Kendrick Passey, 58th Rescue Squadron Pararescueman, unhooks himself from a rope after repelling down from the rafters, portraying a real life scenario of a downed pilot rescue at the opening ceremony during the National Finals Rodeo held at the Thomas & Mack Center, Las Vegas Nev., December 9, 2007. To commemorate the Air Force's 60th Anniversary, Nellis played mulitple roles in the NFR, to include a downed pilot rescue simulation, Thunderbird appearance, honor guard presentation, and also honored five medal recipients for their contributions in the Global War on Terror. The NFR is the premier championship rodeo event in the United States and is held each year during the first full week of December. (U.S Air Force Photo by Airman Stephanie Rubi)
