Red Flag ramps up at Nellis

NELLIS AIR FORCE BASE, Nev.—Petty Officer 2nd Class Patrick Kinbell, 134th Electronic Attack Squadron, Naval Air Station Whidbey Island, Wash., tapes up a wiring harness on the engine of an EA-6 Prowler during preventive maintenance on the aircraft here Jan 17. Petty Officer Kinbell is at Nellis with his unit participating in Red Flag 8-2.1, which is a multi-national exercise providing pilots with a realistic environment to practice combat scenarios.
