Red Flag ramps up at Nellis

NELLIS AIR FORCE BASE, Nev.—Staff Sgt. Marcus Ochoa, a weapons team chief with the 28th Aircraft Maintenance Squadron, Ellsworth AFB, S.D., makes adjustments to the munitions bays on a B-1 bomber here Jan. 24. The B-1 bombers, assigned to the 34th Bomb Squadron, Ellsworth AFB, S.D., are flying air interdiction sorties during Red Flag 8-2.1, which is a multi-national exercise training pilots in the world’s most realistic combat scenarios.
