DOD announces Nellis AFB casualty

NELLIS AIR FORCE BASE, Nev.--Lt. Col. Mark McCloud, commander, 99th Civil Engineer Squadron, briefs local media on the loss of a Nellis Air Force Base explosive ordnance disposal team member Sept. 22, 2010. Senior Airman Michael J. Buras of Fitzgerald, Ga., died Sept. 21 of wounds suffered during an improvised explosive device detonation in Kandahar, Afghanistan. He was 23 years old and a Purple Heart recipient from a previous deployment.
