NELLIS AIR FORCE BASE, Nev.-- Capt. Tammy Baker (right), chief audiologist with 99th Medical Group, explains the effects of different decibel levels to Staff Sgt. Erin Jackson (left), fitness center craftsman with the 99th Force Support Squadron, at the Nellis Fitness Center Oct. 7. Using "Jolene", a mannequin specially designed to measure decibel levels, Captain Baker explains the effects that headphones have on the hearing. October has been designated National Protect Your Hearing Month. Contact your Primary Care Manager at the Michael O'Callaghan Federal Hospital for a hearing exam.
