NELLIS AIR FORCE BASE, Nev. -- Col. Michael Gantt, 53d Wing commander, awards Staff Sgt. Christian Corella, 88th Test and Evaluation Squadron aerial gunner, for being an outstanding performer under the Stripes to Exceptional Performers (STEP) program at Nellis Oct. 21. Staff Sgt. Corella played a crucial part in the 23rd Wing disaster response team in New Orleans, Louisiana in the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina.
