Nellis Annual Weapons Load Competition

NELLIS AIR FORCE BASE, Nev. -- Staff Sgt. William Strong, 57th Aircraft Maintenance Squadron aircraft armament systems journeyman, secures a GBU-12 laser-guided bomb to an F-16 Fighting Falcon during a weapons load competition on the Nellis flightline Jan. 14. Weapons load competitions are conducted quarterly to keep Airmen sharp and recognize superior performers. Weapons load teams are evaluated for use of the checklist, safety, and overall speed.
