NELLIS AIR FORCE BASE, Nev. --Staff Sgt. Amanda Allen and Staff Sgt. Lewis Carter Jr. are Bioenvironmental Engineering Journeymen assigned to the 99th Aerospace Medicine Squadron. Sergeants Allen and Carter are both cross trainees into the Bioenvironmental career field and have served in the U.S. Air Force a combined 17 years. Bioenvironmental engineering Airmen ensure healthful working conditions are maintained and that the environment is not adversely affected by Air Force operations.
