NELLIS AIR FORCE BASE, Nev.-- Senior Airman Jonathan Colom-Ortiz, a safe technician journeyman from the 99th Civil Engineering Squadron, works on a Kaba Mos X-09 High Security lock May 18. The lock is used for top secret areas, vaults, and safes. Airman Colom-Ortiz is one of few stationed at Nellis that is certified to work on this type of lock. "The best part of my job is when I'm able to fabricate and design a lock system and being able to say I made that." said Airman Colom-Ortiz.
