Environmental Photo of Brig. Gen. David Buck

U.S. Air Force Brig. Gen. David Buck, U.S. Air Force Warfare Center vice commander, stands inside the weapons school July 22, 2011, at Nellis Air Force Base, Nev. Buck oversees USAFWC's mission to shape the way our forces fight through operational testing, tactics development, and advanced training in air, space and cyberspace. Additionally, he ensures the center executes five tasks: certify weapon systems for combat; develop joint, integrated combat employment tactics for the U.S. Air Force, Navy and Marine Corps; graduate advanced war-fighting experts from six unique schools; provide joint, integrated exercise venues for U.S. Air Force, Navy, Marine Corps and Army units; and deliver solutions to immediate combat problems and new innovations to all war-fighters. The USAFWC is organized under Air Combat Command into four wings and one named activity with more than 10,000 Airmen serving in the 53rd Wing, 57th Wing, 99th Air Base Wing, 505th Command and Control Wing and The Nevada Test and Training Range.
