2011 POW/MIA Recognition Ceremony

U.S. Air Force Nellis Honor Guard post the Colors during the National Anthem at the National Prisoners of War/Missing in Action Recognition Day ceremony Sept. 16, 2011, at Freedom Park on Nellis Air Force Base, Nev. The ceremony included the dedication of a POW/MIA ceremonial wreath, the reciting of names of Nevadans who are war prisoners and those who are still missing, a 21-gun salute by a rifle firing party and an F-16 Fighting Falcon flyover.
