Sterile needles are always used to withdraw blood from donors

Sterile needles are always used to withdraw blood from donors. The process for donating blood takes approximately one hour, which includes the interview, donation, and refreshments. The blood drive was held at the outdoor recreation center and was open to all eligible donors at Nellis Air Force Base, Creech AFB and the Nevada Test and Training Range.
