Michael Keller, son of Col. Wendell Keller, views the memorial shadowbox of his father and Capt. Virgil Meroney during the 433rd Weapons Squadron heritage hall dedication ceremony May 23, 2013, at the U.S. Air Force Weapons School on Nellis Air Force Base, Nev. Keller and Meroney were tasked with a night interdiction mission against a heavily defended supply route and storage area complex near the Ban Karai Pass March 1, 1969.
