Mary Ellen Boyd, daughter of the late Col. John R. Boyd, hangs her father’s ribbon rack on the wall of Boyd Hall during a re-dedication ceremony June 14, 2013, at Nellis Air Force Base, Nev. Boyd was a senior pilot with more than 2,100 hours in the F-86 Sabre and the F-100 Super Sabre. Boyd received the Air Force Systems Command Scientific Achievement Award, the USAF Research and Development Award, the Air Force Association Citation of Honor, the Arnold Air Society Hoyt S.
