U.S. Air Force pararescuemen from the 82nd Expeditionary Rescue Squadron assess the wounds of simulated casualties during a personnel recovery exercise July 18, 2012, in the Grand Bara Desert, Djibouti. The 82nd ERQS includes combat rescue officers and pararescuemen from the 58th Rescue Squadron at Nellis Air Force Base. The simulated casualties allowed the pararescuemen to practice insertion, emergency medical and extraction procedures during a joint training exercise in support of Combined Joint Task Force - Horn of Africa.
