NELLIS AIR FORCE BASE, Nev.-- A U.S. Air Force C-130 Hercules aircraft approaches Nellis after completing a Mobility Air Forces Exercise mission Nov. 17. More than 40 C-17 Globemaster III and C-130 Hercules cargo aircraft assembled in aerial formations over the Nevada Test and Training Range to conduct air and ground operations as part of the bi-annual U.S. Air Force Weapons School MAFEX. The mobility exercise is part of the Weapons School's rigorous curriculum, which is aimed at teaching cargo aircrews how to integrate with fighter aircraft, sensor, intelligence, and space platforms to conduct successful troop and cargo airdrop and airland operations in combat zones.
