Rescue Homecoming

Air Force Assistance Fund

Steven Garland, 99th Air Base Wing commander, signs the official proclamation kicking off the Air Force Assistance Fund campaign for the installation Jan. 26, 2012, at Nellis Air Force Base, Nev. The AFAF is an annual campaign to raise funds for four charitable affiliates that provide support to Air Force families in need. In 2011, Nellis AFB, Creech AFB, and Nevada Test and Training Range Airmen, retirees and families received more support from these four organizations than any other installation across the Air Force, totaling more than $726,000 in much appreciated aid. NST donates to Adopt a Family program
