Chief Gaylor speaks at 57th Wing Annual Awards Banquet
Retired Chief Master Sgt. of the Air Force Robert Gaylor speaks at the 57th Wing annual awards banquet at the Club Feb. 8, 2014, at Nellis Air Force Base, Nev. Gaylor was the fifth Chief Master Sgt. of the Air Force and is currently the oldest living Chief Master Sergeant of the Air Force. During his time in the Air Force, Gaylor served as a military policeman and advanced to the rank of master sergeant after only seven years and seven months of service. While serving as the Chief Master Sergeant of the Air Force, Gaylor helped secure a policy that allowed senior airmen to transport their families at government expense during permanent change of station moves, a significant move in improving troop quality of life.
