Nellis Air Force Base Airmen involved in vehicle crash Published July 17, 2019 57th WG Public Affairs NELLIS AIR FORCE BASE, Nev. – -- An Airman from Nellis Air Force Base was killed and four Airmen were injured in a single-vehicle crash on U.S. 95 northbound at 5:18 a.m. today. One of the injured Airmen was transported via air and three others by ground to University Medical Center in Las Vegas.Nellis leadership is deeply saddened by this morning’s accident and the loss of one of our own -- our focus now is on caring for them, their families and their Wingmen. We are grateful for the quick actions of the first responders and medical professionals who are caring for our Airmen.The identity of the deceased will be released following next of kin notification.
